Riley
Riley was 7 years old, vacationing with her Nana (Paula Musselman) in Rehoboth Beach, DE when the idea for Riley’s Magic Freckles was formed. Nana noticed each day the summer sun brought more freckles to Riley’s cheeks – just like magic. Riley wondered what it would be like if her freckles really were magic. Riley and Nana talked about all of the things her freckles could become – sprinkles, watermelon seeds, spots on a ladybug… and there on the beach, Riley’s Magic Freckles was created.
Riley is now 9 years old and in third grade. Riley and her Nana hope this is the first of many books they will write together.

Prince
Detective Prince is a 4-year-old bloodhound who works to track missing people in York County, PA. Bloodhounds are described as a nose with a dog attached. Prince’s sense of smell is nearly double that of other dogs. His extraordinary sense of smell, combined with his strong and tenacious tracking instinct make him a perfect K-9 detective.
